David Traub Allsorts Platter

I have posted David's work before, originally he was from the US but came to NZ to head the glass programs at Wanganui Regional Community Polytechnic and then decided he liked it here.
This platter makes use of his abilities as a glass blower, kiln work and cold finnishing skills. He blows all the canes and then cuts them to approx the same length puts them in a mould a bit like a cake dish and heats them in the kilm until all the canes fuse together he them puts them back in the kiln in a large wok to get the final shape, then lots of grinding and polishing.
230mm square and 15mm thick so very heavy.
