Another piece from the Whanganui Artists Open Studios.
Rosalind’s background in textiles and fabrics has heavily influenced the way she works with and uses glass as an art form.
In this piece she has gathered up lots of smaller pieces and fused them into a plate in her kiln.
There was a lot of beautiful pieces to choose from but this one jumped out at me when I visited and came home with me.
225mm x 175mm and the lip of the bowl rises 40mm.
