Got this in an estate sale today.
Trying to figure out exactly what I got - from what I can find online it seems like Dienstylas were only made during WWII for the German military - it seems what I can find that several companies actual produced these under this name for the military- question is I can find CXN models on line but I can't find any that are marked CXN+ - anybody know anything about these binoculars ? Also if it's true different companies made these under this name is there anyway to know which company made this model
Any info would be appreciated
Very nice set of 1940's WWII German military binoculars. I believe these were made by Carl Zeiss in Germany.
According to another WWII collectors group these were made by Emil Busch - the Busch ones were CXN the Zeiss ones were DBF I believe
