As a kid I remember bringing this old phone home, it was painted pink and my dad removed the paint only to find white and olive green paint under that, when he finished he brought it back to it's old glory. When my parents passed I told my sisters the only thing I wanted was this old phone and it's the only antique I'd never part with.

Stonie, looking at your photo the kellogg looks to be made of walnut?

I think it's Pecan, to light for Walnut.

Kellogg manufactured this wall telephone in oak and walnut. There was one walnut telephone manufactured for every 100 oak. Light walnut was not uncommon back 100 years ago.

      Stonie,
I've been into old phones lately, but I too have an old antique that I'd NEVER part with. It's an old (1890s) Gilbert wall clock that belonged to my great grandparents. My mother used to wind it for them when she was a little girl.
