This is a small ad in the June 1915 Household magazine. After I posted this, I noticed that it says in pic #2 "For 29 years...." My question now, is why do all of the 1915 periodical ads listed in Petretti's 11 and 12 all say " For 26 years......". ?????
Thanks cckid!!!
Thanks Perry!!
I have a question about this previously posted piece, please read the caption!!
A couple of them stand out a little bit, like on in Pet's 12 page 568 and also on page 570. The ads have the same pictures, but clearly printed " For 26 years..." they are also listed in Pet's 11 as 1915 ads. So I guess I'm wondering why is there a difference or who got the dates mixed up?
Thanks Ray, I was thinking that as well, I just kinda wanted a little reassurance. I didn't think the piece was off since I have the whole issue intact. I know some people go nuts about dates.
Petretti's is not specialist for ads very few of them here.
I collect Coca-Cola papers ads so I can help for this one :
for unknown reason Coca-Cola advertise in 1915 with this type of ad with two different slogan : 29 years or 26 years with the same drawing and different versions.
I don't know how to post pix ... I have 9 versions with 29 years (but can be find in 11 magazines), 4 versions with 26 years (but can be find in 10 magazines) I have name of 2 other mag but never seen the ads ...
