I am still researching these, and will come back to share more info on them at a later date (mainly, when I find it >.> )
Anyways, the first and third are probably from the 70s, the second one I think will be late 50s.
They all need help...the first one needs new hair because someone fried it...really! It feels burnt! She measures 20 inches
The second one needs a total makeover. She will be getting a new face, arms, legs paint, wig, and dress. Her eyelashes are all there, Yay!! 19 inches
The third darling has a vinyl head, that has gone sticky. Not sure how I am going to fix that... :( 18 inches ...Says "made in France" on the back.
I know most of you don't do Spanish dolls...or any doll for that matter, but any help id-ing them would be greatly apreciated!
ETA**The black doll is french. I just undressed her and saw the made in France stamp on the back. I bought her as a Spanish girl, but that's ok...she's lovely just the same. Now if I could only fix the sticky face. :(
I know little to nothing about the vinyl modern foreign dolls (other than the accidental knowledge on Furga's). There is a guy from England on the eBay doll board that knows these dolls
Thanks Vestaswind! I must admit that I've been searching for other dolls info and these just got stored in a box while I was doing other things...you know how that is...
The factory is still open, but unfortunately, they're not very collector oriented...I have contacted them on several occasions but never recieved a response. :(
Thanks for liking my two Famosas and the french girl, Official!!
Esther, is the first one an American made doll? She reminds me of Chatty Cathy, but I would think she'd be marked Mattel somewhere... and if she doesn't talk, she isn't Chatty Cathy I guess, lol. But she sure looks like her! Anyway they are all wonderful :)
Cinnamomma, she is def not Chatty Cathy. But thanks for the input and the like! ;)
Thanks for the love TSA!!
