I have several large signs hanging out of the way in the hall leading to the small unfinished room in our basement. My favorite of these is this considerable Fishtail sign by Robertson marked 3-65. It looks like it was made to fit over a board for display and secured by nails. It has a nice quality, in that the Arciform or Fishtail is raised from the sign, providing a little depth. It's in pretty good condition too. I keep my stash of cold 8 oz bottles of Coca-Cola in a refrigerator just around the corner at the end of this hall, so I look at these signs a few times a week. (And yes the kids know to keep away from Daddy's bottles of Coke! Drink a can, Munchkins!!!!:)

Nice Sign... I used to stash my bottles in one of my machines, but you believe the money that the kids and their friends could come up with, LOL.

Thanks Tommy. I think a machine or cooler is in my future, maybe a ways down the road. I took a run at one on line, but very expensive and costly shipping.

Nice sign Dave, & good luck hunting down a cooler/machine, there's lots of them out there. There is always some-one(like me years ago) that gets tired of lugging them from house to house,& willing to unload on the cheap!Keep checking the local classifieds. Wish I still had the Vendo44 that i sold for $500 a few years back!

Thanks Trevor! I purchased this while I was still pretty green for approx $250 delivered. I think maybe I've seen just one like it in the year since. I probably overpaid, but they are not all that common it seems.

Dave, you never overpay if it's what ya want, at least I keep telling myself that !!!

250$ in that condition i think you got yourself a pretty good deal. i could see that sign selling for atleast 300- 350$ in my area. i like how its a us sign too, its hard to find those signs in canada.

I agree with Tom and Trevor. Dave, you have to look at condition and then ask yourself if you can afford it. If condition is great and it's reasonable then hang it on your wall. ;)
