I was inspired by a post by a fellow CW contributer,(signaholic,. who has an awe inspiring collection of curio's) to get my boxes of stuff(ie..junk) unpacked. Good thing I did,they were starting to get mouldy. I have'nt got the nice curio cabinet yet Perry, but this will do for now.The collection includes several Herend's, a antique beaded riticule(thanks solver!), a set of silver spurs,other sterling pieces, and other items I've found neat/interesting,/unusual or just plain funky! Most of this was left to me by a dear friend,now I think of her every time I look at the cabinet!

Now you're talkin Bernie! You got it man, now pile even more stuff in there and then look at it,,,pause and arrange. That's what my wife taught me. Sometimes I pause too long,,,lol. Looks great! I love the old pair of specks, spurs and the bakelite bracelet. Think of it like an old antique shop where they had a big case of stuff that was a blast to look at. I have seen those old cases so many times, I can't tell you. I'm tryin to find a larger case that I can set my smaller one on. They want alot for those bigger ones though.
Thanks Perry, I started making a curio cabinet,but a vintage one would be much cooler! After seeing your antique cabinet, I am going to start keeping an eye out for one,and also for more things to put in it! For now the cheapie fake teakie cabinet will do,it's got lots of room for more "treasures".
