What era would this type of doll house be from? Does anyone know the history of this doll house maker? Is this a Marx Doll house? I don't know if it has any markings on it I didn't look at time of taken photo, was told that it was a Marx but were not 100% sure. Any information about this item is appreciated.

    Thank you.

It's from the 1950s. I had this same dollhouse when I was little. I believe it is by Marx.

stefdesign is correct, this was made by Marx in the 1950's. I include a link to an Esty posting for this great lithographed tin doll house:

Definitely a Marx, I collect them and your rooms have all the lithographs that Marx had.

I had one just like that in the early 1960s. It was new and got under the tree at Christmas time. Played with it my whole childhood, have no idea who made it or where it was bought. Very nice doll house
