I think i saw something very similar to this on ebay once, and a lot of people were bidding on it, it was similar in color and writings on the box, which is in russian the date is the only thing i can read on it Cept/12/1953. on the inside there is a piece of paper signed by an inspector. and more russian text. The stickers on the top look like customs stickers labeling the box as munitions.

Nice bro. I love stuff like that. Especially Russian military stuff. I am biding now on a WW2 Russian Gas Mask Kit. Awesome shape and very cool. I want a amo case like this now. LOL!

I only paid 19.99 for it. If you look around you can probably find one, there is a 2 more things i want to get from this consigner, he has a us army demolitions blasting cap box, its probably the size of a case of returnable beer bottles the top secures nicely it has rope handles on the side, and there is also a korean war ammo crate that is big enough to put vinyl records in. those are about 30$ each. The store owners say that this consigner brings in the "neatest" militaria stuff. At least us army stuff i can read what is printed on it ;-)
