Here are some images of my 1939 Mercury Univex CC-1500. This is a rare camera because less than 3000 were produced, and this one is even rarer because it sports the Hexar F2.0 lens. The accesories on this camera include: The rapid winder, rangefinder, and light meter. The light meter is not correct for 1939. It is from the later 1946 MercuryII.

I had the entire assembly cleaned of all animal based lubrication, lubed with synthetics, and adjusted in 2006. All mechanical parts work perfectly.

The Univex Daylight Loading Cartridge No. 200 is designed to be reloaded with the UniveX Daylight Bulk Film Winder. Today, I believe the bakelite bulk film winders are rarer than my camera.

The items pictured here would cost $78.50 new. That was a lot of money in 1939..

My uncle loaned me a CC-1000 when I was 11 years old (1952). I spooled the film in a closet, recorded many bad images with it, and ruined the good ones in the developing tank. It was great fun!
      Today, I shoot a D90 and I don't miss film, at all..

I love to shoot but my real camera passion is collecting. I just picked up a mint Nikon D1 with proper 28-105 D lens that I am starting to play with.

Nice 1500! I'm totally jealous of your Hexar, but I think my favorite part of the group is the film cartridge. Like everything else in the photos, you don't see those every day.
I haven't added my 1500 to the Show & Tell here, but you've seen it in the Mercury article, which was more or less taken from here:

I look forward to seeing more of your collection!
