how do you find out the value of it. just was wondering how much its worth. it works and is in good conditon.

Mark Stevens at tvlamps.net doesn't use a doller value. He does show it as being rare. The value, to you, was what you paid. Someone else would use their own criteria to determine value.

would like to know what a collector think it is worth. i know it doesnt use the dollar value on his site, i looked at it.

You are a colector so your opinion is as good as anyones. Panther lamps on ebay list from $3.00 to over $500.00 depending on style. IF I wanted your lamp, I would be thrilled to get it at $25, expect to pay $125, and pass on listings of $250.
NOTE: that is because I am a blue collar person of modest means. If I were a Democrat, I might easily afford $250!

I'd add to Savoy's comments that if you bought it in an ebay auction, then market value is probably in the area of what you paid (assuming it was accurately described, had good photos and the auction didn't end at an odd time).

      Scott
