    this i picked up a few months ago from a fair.
    it is a leighner make up box with contents.
    the box is original and appears in there 1938 catalogue.
    the pots still contain there contents and the smell of the grease paint is FANTASTIC.

      Reminds of the old actors reminiscing about the "roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd" er or some variation thereof...

      The best part for me is that flap in the third picture that keeps the box from tilting over. I wish I had that on my fishing tackle box!

      I am interested in seeing a birdseye photo of the whole box, as I cannot fully see the brush with the long wooden handle. I am interested to know if the bristles are find or coarse, and if the are cut flat or not? Also do you know what that brush was used for?
