I found this sitting in an ally near my house. I loved the style of it. Its made by General Electric. I believc its from the late 50's early 60's Everything still works, the record player is a little warped but the sound of the radio is incredible considering its age. The bottom cabinet was made to hold a televison. But its where I store my music collection. It was a great find...

Can you tell me what model number this is?
Your picture is the only one i can find online and I have the same one!
My brother works for a moving company and they had it at the shop ready to throw away and I grabbed it I've never seen anything like it but I was hoping I could research some more information about it :)

That is a great unit! I love the look. Great save. Is the disk the record sits on warped? They can be removed and straightened. What are the model numbers?

I just found the same one at goodwill. Do you happen to have to model #? Really could use it to find schematic. Thanks.

I just bought this same unit and have no idea what year this was manufactured. Anybody have any info on it?

I found this one today on a sidewalk, ready for the trash. It's in good condition but the radio doesn't work due to lack of antenna I believe. Any ideas on how to fix the antenna?

In regards to a previous question, the model number is RC 4891A.

I would say mid to late 1960's.
My first job was as a repairman of home entertainment equipment in 1968.
I worked for a distributor for RCA and Voice of Music.
The style is very much of the 60's period.
As long as the capacitors haven't dried out, it should be a wonderful unit to play LP's on.

Ddstardd, since you have the model number, do you have the year of manufacture?
    9. Ddstardd, 8 years ago
Walt, I can't find a year but I haven't opened up the back panel. I bet a year will be in there somewhere. It's in good condition and has the label and serial number. It even lists the TVs that fit in the cubby. The phonograph moves but I hear no sound : -(
