This is a Model 1902 visor cap US Army hat.
This particular one was made for the Infantry-- infantry blue bands, and it has the insignia for Company D, 10th Infantry. I am not sure if this is the US 10th Infantry or one of the myriad of state units at the same time period.
This hat came with a tunic and trousers from the same time period.
