      I'm from India... I had a red one very similar to this (around 1970). It had a hand brake just below the seat. In this pic, I see a slot below the seat... thats exactly where the hand brake was....

      Hi there, this is a 1950's Tri-ang Trietta pedal scooter, i have one with different wheels but am missing the side panels :(

      Mine too had different wheels This one (in the pic) has spokes, mine had more solid wheels... much like a Lambretta wheels.
