Anybody know anything about this chess set??? I purchased it at a garage sale for $5.00. It is all Chinese/Japanese (?) tiled on board. The drawers fit in sides of box and it folds for easy carrying...

Hi pairinabox, great buy! Ebay seller 'ebargains123' has one listed in Buy it Now at $160 and $15 shipping, so your $5 is looking awfully good. His light side is pale jade, I like your antique white much better. That black pawn is easily repaired with epoxy or similar, but no hot melt glue.

Thank you, Jwendell222 - Kind of you for the info. My granddaughter, who is 6 plays and loves chess; (she speaks Japaneze as a second language also) so will save it for her.
