Had this idea in my mind so I had an hour or so to kill and tried to do a rustic restoration, just an experiment. I new if I didnt like this I would be glass beading the whole thing anyways and painting it as I had decided not to leave it as is, it has green paint on it that Sunoco never used. Comments welcome.... I think. lol
Love them either way!
I'll agree with offcialfuel, but will be awaiting to see how the experiment turns out, good luck and nice can.
Thanks official, chevy, kerry and stonesfan for checking this out, I didnt want to paint the whole can yellow w/ blue letters and going with blue can and yellow letters is backwards for time period, so I painted the yellow diamond and then tried to make it look old. it sure makes sunoco stand out more, I think Ill leave it like this for now, thanks all.
good work I'd leave it that way!
