Take a large (10.5" tall) Kralik vase in a classic shape with a heavy silver iridescent outer layer, add a wax resist in a jugenstil floral pattern, then dip the whole thing in acid, then clean and remove the wax, and what do you get? A spectacular Kralik vase! There are similar examples in the Glass Museum in Passau.

Spectacular and fairly rare for Kralik. I have owned this decor on a green ground. The amethyst works much better as a contrast for the Silberiris in my opinion. Congrats on your new acquisition.

Lovely. I have seen this on a number of dealer's web sites listed as Loetz. Not to mention any names of course.
