My collection of Vintage Bob & Judy Readers

Published in the late 1930s by Lyons and Carnahan, this is some of my vast vintage school book collection: the Bob and Judy readers. Many textbook publishers of the era tried to copy the successful pattern of the Dick and Jane readers by Scott, Foresman & Company. These readers did a great job of it! Sweet illustrations and cute stories, they are so fun to look at. I also have a couple of later editions of these readers as shown in photo #4.
