I am the grand daughter of Warnard "Buck" Neely who worked for Cameron Clay Works before it burned down in 1964. I have been collecting pieces from the pottery for about a year now. All my pieces are near and dear to my heart as Buck passed away 12 years ago. I miss him dearly but having these pieces makes me feel closer to him. Every time I get a new one I think, "Did Pap make this piece? Did he hold it in his hand?" and it makes me smile.
Check out the other pics, as I have more than 4.

I was very touched by your comment. Objects are merely objects unless we can attribute some special meaning to them. It might just be that somehow it speaks to us, it could also remind us of something, somewhere or, in this the most important case, someone who may have had a hand in making it !

A little while ago someone emailed me and told me that the piece I had for sale on Ebay was a Cameron Clay Products creation. Hopefully you can take a look at it here :

Maybe Buck touched this too !

Yes, that was Cameron Clay Products. I have one of those, but not with the black interior. Very beautiful piece!

      Hello,
I also received an email about a piece I have on Etsy.com correcting me about the origins, which is great because I enjoy learning these things. In all the research I did before placing this piece for sale I did not see anything linking me to Cameron Clay Products and that should be changed in the search engines for the obvious reasons but also, what an interesting story there is connected to these pieces. Your collection is beautiful and touching.
      Thank you for sharing,

Sorry, but that link took me to a page to open a seller's account. Can you link to the actual item? Thanks?

Sorry about that. I checked this one out before I pasted here so this will get you there. Thank you! Vickie
