Fast and nimble British classic lost out to the Japanese multi cylinder machines. It handled like a bicycle with 60 horsepower.

Did you restore it ?
I bought the Nort as is.It was restored by the top Norton builder on the east coast(Chris Greenbacher). The bike was a pleasure to own. I got too old to race, and passed it on.
I remember selling my Bellini 250cc so I could buy a Norton Commando like yours. I kept the Norton until 1985 and then bought a Honda 750 V45 Saber.
Thank you folks
Sweet ride Ron !!
Thank you Hedgewalker!
Nice!!! Kinda reminds me of one I saw back in 1970, when traveling around Europe with the 'flower child' generation. Met an American couple in Oslo, Norway on a brand new Norton they'd bought in England a few weeks earlier. A couple of weeks later we caught up to them up along the coast north of Bergen, ..... on gravel roads. The guy had dumped his machine on loose stones, then hit some bigger rocks. What a mess. They were alive, but the bike was not. Sad, because it was such a beautiful machine. Nice to see this one fixed up. Beauty.
thank you bushrat.
Hems, I loved racing this spitfire against the Harleys and hitting the twisty country roads.I sold the bike, but still enjoy an occasional stay at St James Parish in Barbados at a littte place call Grenwich village
