Hi there, wondered if anyone might know anything about this comport, has primrose paerline enging at rim, classic clear yellow with tinges of green in normal light, and a magnificent green glow under uv light.

Am trying to find some information about it, as to who might be the maker, and the period it belongs to, stands 21cm and the top is 23.5cm in width. Is in perfect condition, there are no chips, cracks, marks or restoration, all I know is that the original owner was from South Africa.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, It Looks Very Much Like A George Davidson Piece ... I Have A Few Very Similar Ones ... Are You Sure It Doesn't Have A Registration Number ? They Can Be Hard To See With The Fussy Pattern ... George Davidson Only Made This Colour For A Couple Of Years From About 1890 To 1900 ??? & I Don't Think I've Ever Seen A Piece Without A Number On It ... Cheers Mark
