Ever since I purchased a partial of this coupon-ad, I've wanted a complete one. I passed over a couple "buy it now" opportunities earlier this year and was beginning to think I wouldn't get another chance. I recently purchased this example, still bound within a June 1905 edition of Booklovers Magazine, on a bid auction for $135 delivered. Condition and color are excellent. There are creases running vertical next to the spine area, but all in all very nice. I was interested to see that the top border of the ad was trimmed slightly pre-publication to fit the magazine. Opposite the back side is an Oldsmobile advertisement, which is cool because Lansing, Michigan is the home of Olds Motor Works, and the last Oldsmobile produced rolled off an assembly line here not too long ago. My next project will be to remove this beautiful 1905 Coca-Cola ad card from the magazine for suitable framing. Wish me luck!

I included a picture of this item next to my partial and a small fake I purchased as original (for which I received a full refund).

Thanks. It's stapled in there. I was going to straighten them out with a pair of needle nose pliers, then carefully pull them out, like a late 1800's barber yanking teeth while jazzed up on The Delicious and Refreshing. I think I'm tracking what you're saying, remove the pages before and after the ad, instead of just trying to pull the ad out between all those pages. Good advice, Kimosabe. Hey, Ray, please comment on NewCoke's latest post wouldya? Thanks again.

Hey Dave, you got a winner there buddy! Glad you got refunded on your fake. That ad has all the bells and whistles don't it? Man, what a find! They should frame up nicely, keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks Perry! Yeah, that fake, it was pretty funny when I received that one. I pretty much knew when I looked at the envelope, it might be a lit-tle small. It had the two sided print, so somebody made an effort. It may have been a trading card or something, who knows. Anyway, I removed the Real McCoy from the magazine successfully today, looks good. Now on to the framer.
Thanks again for your comments, always nice to hear from you.

Nice piece Dave, that early vintage CC. stuff has got it goin' on. Love the graphics and descriptive verse. Another area of collecting I would'nt have noticed but for seeing your great posts!

Thanks Bernie. I'm now picking up some "non-sign" pieces to display in the gaps between signs. Eventually I'll be working my way down to bottle caps!!!! Kidding!!!! :) I've posted new pics of the ad removed from the magazine, including a scanned image which really shows the print detail.

That is Great Dave !!! Glad you got that refund too... more dough for more fillers. Don't forget to show us how it looks all framed too.

I do really think that Coca Cola had some of the best marketing skills of all eras. Still going strong although I am not sure how our 'sugar tax has affected them and now a national shortage of co2 doesn't help. Neil
