This lamp is so amazing I've had it for years it was a great uncles. He lived in lots a places all over the world. Such as Japan, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Venezuela, Sadi Arabia, Pakistan, Isreal, Europe, and many more. Main oil rich countries he was head accountant for Exxon. He had many many different types of culture pieces and valuable collector items that they gathered through the years. These were in the many of unique items that were not marked so were set aside and when we had appraisers come out and they never were valued. The round shape in the center of the body is also on the other side. The designs of the top and bottom go all the way around. Its pearly shiny white porcelain, with a wood (black) base, Underneath the lamp's vase is no markings its just brown felt to keep it from moving. Its 14" tall and the widest point to point is 7.5". I'm almost wondering if it wasn't always a lamp because the bottom part of the porcelain is solid its not open. I'll leave a picture to better describe that part of it. Anyways thank you so much and appreciate all the help.

Photos look like a milk glass lamp? Milk glass originated in Venice in the 16th century, end of the 19th century in France, during the 1930’s, milk glass made during the Depression in America. Milk glass is now manufactured by several prestigious glass companies including Atterbury Glass Company, Fenton Glass Company, Fostoria Glass Company, Hobbs, Brockunier and Co, Imperial Glass Company, Jeannette Glass Company and Kanawha Glass Co. Many people feel these are still considered a luxury item and a great collectable.
