    Hi

I've kept the Tonka Truck pictured in my attic for some 20 years and would be interested to find out it's origin.

The model is approx 20" long and fixed onto a wooden plinth with perspex top. There is no inscription on the plinth.

Was this a promotional (could be Toy Fair) item and if so, how many were produced ?

I worked for Tonka during the mid 1980's but think the item dates further back.

    Can anyone help ?

    Thanks.
    Bob Esterbrook

Bob, just bought this same exact model today, fresh from the barn. Still complete but pretty dusty and some paint wear from playtime. Will keep watching to see what you learn. Thanks for showing the nice piece.
