i need to know if anyone has a clue who made this lure...was purchased at a flea market about 2?years ago.....paid $1.00 for it
there isnt any name on the main body or the "hooks"
everyone i talked to so far say they havent seen anything like it.
thanks for looking.....
Your lure is a "Cornelius Lie Bait", Pat Nov. 17, 1885. Pat #330793. The book value is stated as $750.00 to $1000.00. Hope this info helps you! Regards, Thom

thanks for the reply ,Thom....not a bad investment for $1.00....wish i could have found more....lol
Great find ,it is a very interesting how it was made.
Couldn't identify it - but any vintage metal minnow = $$$, especially with built in action for hooks or hardware. Super find, enjoy.
i am not going to get rid of this lure.it will be hard to find another like it ..had it in my truck before i found out the value...now its locked up...lol
thanks for all the comments...
