These architechtural salvage pieces came from the sides of an organ that was sold to a church. They were made in Europe and shipped to U.S. in 1902. They were made from white oak.

These are beautiful! I have a couple of them from an old whaling house in New Bedford. I'm inspired by yours to find mine and hang them up again.

Thank you . . . I am glad to have inspired you . . . I would be interested to see how you hang them . . . they are very heavy . . . I think they would make a beautiful side table if you could find the right piece of marble or something . . . .
