    Beautiful Steuben Lotus Vase, No. 7914 G.T., (Designer George Thompson), circa 1942.

    clear glass trumpet form with applied elements, base marked "Steuben", 10 in. Discontinued design from the early 1940's

    Bought this at todays antique auction, not bad for a last minute buy. I called it the rocketship vase.
