This vase I got a long time ago, and for a lovely price, as a Nanny Still design, but never had complete prove of that. Not long ago I purchased an amazing book on Riihimäki glass: "Riihimäen lasia /Glass from Riihimäki - Riihimäen Lasi Oy 1919-1990". I loved this book, specially because thanks to it I could identify several glass items, this one among them. And i am glad I did because I was just about of getting rid of most of my Tamara Aladin stuff... but not anymore! :)

This vase stands 16 cm. tall, but can also be found in two bigger sizes:22 and 28 cm. tall.

      Hi Austrohungaro

I am currently a fan of Tamara Aladdin's vase objects.

You mention the book "Riihimänke lasia / Glass from Riihimäki - Riihimypen Lasi Oy 1919-1990" ... unfortunately it doesn't seem to be for sale anymore.

Do you know where I can get it or whether it is available as a PDF?
I'm very interested in the information about Tamara Aladin's work in this book.

Hi artofview. Unfortunately I have no clue of where to get a copy of this book. The chapter on Tamara Aladin is really worth getting it, plus i think it must probably be the only available literature on her work as there was no catalogue made on the occasion of the Suomen Lasimuseo exhibition after her death.

      Goof luck on its search!

NOTE, March 2021:I just reread my post ... how is it possible that I had not checked what I wrote? I'm not saying that because of my grammar, which is always far from perfect, but at least I could have check my typing! It was completely unintelligible! Now i understand thee were only three loves on this vase :)
