GREAT photos-- thanks for sharing.
"Harry Bennett" has a patch on his shoulder-- which should identify his unit of service during the Great War.
If you don't know much about his service, I'd be happy to try and ID the unit-- I'll need a close up photograph.

I'll see if I can get a better picture of Harrys shoulder patch. The last pix is my Grandfather, former game warden here in MA. I now live in his former house.!
