About 25 years ago I had mentioned to my Dad about wanting a antique bicycle to restore. Not long after he came home from a estate sale with this Huffman. He had bought it for 10 bucks. Everything was painted blue, even the chrome. The bike was put in the shed for a couple years as I was busy getting engaged and then married to the love of my life. In the first couple years of marriage I restored the Huffman, while at the same time started a friendship with Mike, one of the staff at the local bike store. Mike now owns the store and we have been friends for over 21 years. As for the bike it is a 26 inch Huffman that I painted using as close to the original color as I could. It is not a perfect restoration, but a great rider. I just put the headlight on this morning, though I have had it ready a year ago. This bicycle was the official start of me being a collector. The bike was named after my Dad using his middle name. Boone. Thanks for looking,,,and keep collecting. You end up with some cool stuff,, and some cooler friends.

Thanks youngpicker96.
WOW,great ride.
Great job! You said it was painted over in blue, is this the original colors?
What type of paint did you use (rattle can or automotive)?
Love those Persons sirens, I've got a couple myself.
I love peoples reaction to them, lol!
I matched the paint to the fork below the treads, so it is real close. The stripping is wrong, but at the time I had no photos to reference. I used automotive paint. It was my first attempt. Fogged a little, but not bad. Thanks. And, yes, the siren is fun. Thanks much, DavesCoolStuff. And thank you ignatz.
Thanks, Echo_Delta for liking the old ride.
Thanks timetraveler, mustangtony, and crabbykins.
