I BOUGHT THIS OLD COFFEE CAN AND IT HAD A LOT OF OLD MARBLES IN IT. THEY APPEAR TO BE OF ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF MATERIAL AND SIZES. I HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY ARE OF ANY VALUE, JUST LIKED THEM WHEN I SAW THEM. ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

You have Clay marbles were first made in America in 1884 by The Akron Toy Company. Prior to 1884 they were imported from Germany.

Billions of the plain clay marbles were made in the USA from 1884 until about 1950. e used to collect marbles but no longer do .

You have at least one cat eye some swirls some agates, I see one marble a real dark yellow one with a red side on it in pile . I believe that is a good one !

Manikin is right. Shot marbles as a kid. Saved them also in old coffee cans. Don't ever loose your marbles
