Production shape 437 was the last Franz Hofstätter design made for Paris. This shape is typically found in ornate Phänomen Genre designs costing tens of thousands of dollars. Not this one....but thats very OK with me! I love the shape and its price was a bargain for a Hofstätter design.

Congratulations, Tony - I have one of these (also in Cobalt Norma) and it is my favorite by far. If I didn't already have one I might have plunked down the dough myself! Believe it or not, I got in a lot that the auctioneer categorized as "carnival glass". It wasn't cheap, but it was a bargain, as you say, for Hofstätter.

Hi Warren. I remember seeing yours on Flicker. I love it.
