Trying a few different settings on the cheapy old camera, hoping to get some better results, but as of yet,not working. Another piece from a set, this is the only one I have also.
Very nicely decorated, but noticed a tail chipped off today :(

Not sure Amy, just noticed this when taking a picture. I'm trying to develope my photo skills to try to get the results you get, but I think a new camera is in the future before that'll happen!
I guess with the damage they are not worth much?
Thanks Amy, the weak spot was likely the cleaning person!! I too had'nt even heard of Herend before . Then when my second mom(for lack of a better term) passed, now all these nice things came to me. I had seen them for years,but never actually "looked" at them. They really are quite well done. Your pics are always so well done, looks pro. I had all the good camera gear in the past, then everything went digital & I've never caught up. Good luck with your project!
Went through a stack of old photo books awhile ago from her, your old photos has inspired me to get them out again & try to post some in the future(another rainy or snowy day project).
