When my husband and I were cleaning out his dad’s old house, we ran across this doll in a glass display case. I have no idea how old or even what she is exactly. A similar doll I found on the internet said she is a hat vendor doll. Anyway, could someone tell me if this doll is worth anything? I have included a picture of the signatures in the bottom of the display case. Thanks so much!

Hi, Your doll isn't selling hats, she's actually performing a dance with the hats. I think she is a young geisha in training - "maiko". Her head is either porcelain or gofun, which is made from a powder of crushed oyster shells. Her kimono and obi are probably silk brocade. She seems in really nice condition and has her display case. I can't give you an actual value, but if you google Japanese Gofun Geisha doll, you will find several sources and can probably get an idea of the value. I'm pretty sure you'll be surprised.
