I came across this clock at an estate sale in New Bedford, MA. The sails are metal and the piece is nicely put together. When I plug it in, nothing, but the cord is quite old. Maybe just needs a new one. I don't know much else about it but I am sure I will try to get it running.
Thanks for looking.
I bought one like this back in around 1965 but it was a darker color. i happen to be at a mom and pop store back then and the salesman was wanting the store owner to sale them in his store and the owner did not so he asked if i wanted to puchase the clock. im not sure i think i paid twelve dollars for it. i have a good idea where it might be today.
Thanks for the comment, olegaclockman47. You have a fine collection of clocks and it sounds as though you are very knowledgeable! Although I prefer fresh water to ocean, I was drawn to this particular clock. It looks like it has attitude!
Gorgeous Clock CindyJune, most of these have Sessions clocks in them and that is one of my favourites. You have a beautiful example. Antiquerose had one a while back !!:
