This type of glass was called Kralik for many years but thanks to the work of a few passionate collectors (you know who you are) I have been convinced that they were made by a different maker- Welz.
The glass was produced in Czechoslovakia between the world wars. The glass is thin and decorated with vivid color patterns and swirls. Lastly they are sprayed with some kind of chemical and re-fired. the surface is unlike any other satin to the touch, vibrant rainbow reflection, even tiny cracks are formed in the surface of the glass. Enjoy the pics. jm
LOVE IT NOW!
Is that first one yours?
