Well, here I am looking for neat stuff and guess what I found in somewhere . This lamp looks to me like some victorian mixed with some art noveau or something, does anyone out there know?
Here are the specs. It's 42" x 16" at the tallest and widest,
It has 4 statuettes at the base which are beautiful each 8.5" high,
it has 3 rows (ring levels) of 4 candelabra light bulbs in each behind each of the 3 rings as shown above, it also has enbedded in each of the 3 rings, diamond cut round crystals, a total of 36 and last BUT not least approx. 94 bigger diamond cut pear shaped crystals hanging from each of the 3 rings plus 2 more rings above that!!! I guess it weighs about 25 lbs. and I don't think it's bronze but some kind of alloy, it looks like pewter with a bronze/brassy coloration, it's finish is warn in places, it also has a broken ring, about 2.5 inches of the middle ring is missing (kind of the back side) and after all that it actually works!!
Does anybody have a clue where/when this beautiful lamp might have come from??? I love it but it is big. It kind of reminds me of the "parlor room" in the ADAMS FAMILY show. Well any hints I would love to hear them before I get rid of "THE MONSTER" lamp!!! :-)hehehe
Thank you all, I've seen some beautiful things in this web site!
