Metz Contempora Cabinet (1964)

I found this cabinet at a second hand store. The array of burl wood squares on the front panels really caught my eye. I also liked the way the drawers disappear into the overall design with flared sides instead of knobs or drawer pulls. Very mid century-looking. Each drawer has the number 64 incised which I assume stands for the date of manufacture. The piece measure about 48" wide.
