Hi this looks very much like the mark on my vase on CW.
      http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/20335-italian-modernist-vase?in=user
I think those numbers are 301/201.
      The label is interesting. "(C)romaine".

There are similarities in the basic form. Inside the vase are there concentric ridges? They would suggest hand potted rather than a moulded piece.

That signature looks like Gianni, Gianna, Gianno.

Thank you for sharing this vase, I really like it!

I have googled every possible spelling I could think of and couldn't find anything similar. Yours definitely comes from the same source.

I bought mine at an auction in S. Florida. It was probably an estate item.

I'm glad you can see how they might be related. Info on this vase has elude me for years! And the site in Italy I usually refer to with your "Gianna" is now just a dead end: "Questo dominio e' riservato".
      Peccato!
The Cromaine idea I've yet to look at properly; perhaps it's a dead end ... a marketing label.

Have you seen this interesting site? http://83.216.174.6/virtual/ceramicaarte900.it/htdocs/news.php?go=fullnews&newsid=101
