FAM stands for Federation Of American Motorcyclists,this organization gave birth on Sept. 7 1903 in Brooklyn New York to help improve Roads and more fair regulation's for the new craze,..."The Motorcycle"
This Organization eventually came to be the AMA (American Motorcycle Association). The FAM ENDED IN 1919
The four medals shown are one 1911 FAM meet in Buffalo NY and the other three are from 1912 handed out at the Columbus Ohio Annual Meet
I have many other FAM items I can share as well as much literature if anyone is seeking information regarding the FAM
If anyone has any of these FAM medals,awards,pins,literature,clothing,pennants or signs ??? ,..would love to see them.
