Very Old Primitive Buggy or Small Wagon Jack

I could not resist picking up this great old buggy jack at an estate sale last weekend. I love old hand made one of a kind items, mainly because a lot of them were made out of necessity.
The reason I feel this is a buggy jack or small wagon jack is due to its small size, buggies were rather light, as compared to covered wagons, ore wagons, etc.
As you can see, this was hand made, probably by some poor farmer that could not afford to buy one. Note the rough carving on the wooden parts, probably used whatever tools he had available. This will make a nice conversation piece.
