Finally got my hands on a Coca-Cola amber bottle with arrow! I think its a more common US bottle but i really like it. The bottle was made in Buffalo N.Y. not sure if thats a common state, tried to find this bottle and pets book had no luck. was hoping someone knows more about the Buffalo NY bottle is it common or harder to find bottle?
Thanks spriteboy42 & Lostinspcace, Peter or Blaine any idea why this bottle is not in Pets book? & have you seen this bottle before is it common or harder to find city/state?
Nice, that one is a rare one. Any amber N.Y. bottles are pretty desirable and/ or hard to find. Since it's buffalo and not some honky tonk little town, it would be a little less desirable then most N.Y. bottles. I would guestimate that this bottle should be worth 75-100 because of the condition. If this had no major chips and was just flea bit in some areas do to wear, it would be worth closer to 125-150.
Oh, and you're going to see alot of bottles that aren't in Petretti's. Just as signs, posters, and any other coke item, it is nearly impossible to put every single bottle the book.
Thanks Peter your info is really helpful, do you know if most the amber bottles that had arrows on them had one or two arrows? my bottle has two
thanks packrat-place and pickingupbones
There are varitaions of amber arrow bottles, like circular and vertical arrow bottles. Usually, in your case, vertical arrows have two. Circular arrows have only one around the coca-cola logo.
okay thanks, i have another question its about the hobbleskirt bottles, how come Canadas are clear and US are green?
