Here's a Coca Cola Pocket Knife I picked up when I was a kid, but to this day I really don't know if it's actually an old knife or a reproduction. It's at least 25 years old because I've had it that long. Says USA on bottom portion of larger blade.

The question though, is it 40, 50, or 60 years old?

Reproduction or real? How can I tell?

Gotcha. Well, I certainly appreciate all the feedback, Ray. Yeah, I'm a little suspect on it myself. I have a couple others with different graphics, but I just have a feeling all of them are repops.

I just bought a similar knife but it also has Chicago Wolds Fair 1933 on it along with Drink Coca Cola in Bottles 5 cents. Any thoughts ?

Hey Terry, do you have the knife posted here on Collectors Weekly? If so, it would be easier to get an idea (especially from the more knowledgeable collectors than myself) if it was authentic or not.

Not posted yet but it should be soon. Thanks

I think it's real, the lettering and styles looks right, The only thing that makes look like a repro is the "Drink" in coca cola.

Plus the blade, screws have a good patina (I think I spelt it right) on it.

These are reproduction knives, they have made so many that the market is flooded with them. Jim Parker who use to own Case knives, made a bunch of these in the 80s. There are old Coca Cola knives but this is not one,,,sorry.

I have a Coca Cola knife that reads "Geniet Coca Cola" on the blade. Under that logo it says GEREG HANDELSMERK (I think). It also has a bottle opener at the base of the blade. Under that it is stamped ROSTFREI ALTENBACH SOLIGEN (I think). The handle looks like some sort of Mother of Pearl inlay. I bought it for my dad and I'd like to know more about it if anyone can help me. What langauge is it in? When and why was it made?

This is Katie with the German Coca Cola pocket knife. I posted some images of the knife in the show and tell part of the website. Appologies for the pictures- they arent the best.
