(1 item)
Found this in an attic. Looking for any information. They look hand signed and dated by Lazerges. The Halo is etched into the paper. I have seen other similar images online, but non that are exact. I am afraid to remove from the frame. They look very brittle. Any info would be great Thanks.
I will try and identify what number stages you have as soon as I can. Probably within a day or two. The one I have is # 13. Let's Keep in touch.
Hi lovedtreasures.
The artist's name is LAZERGES, Jean Raymond Hippolyte. (1817 - 1887).
They are taken from a book that is still printed:
Chemin de Croix , written Pelot R.R.P and illustrated by Hippolyte Lazerges

If it's from the same series there are fourteen stations.
You have three stations:
on the left is number 2 : Jésus chargé de sa croix - Jesus given the cross
in the centre is number 8 ; Jésus console les saintes femmes - Jesus comforts the Holy Women of Jerusalem
on the right is number 13 : Jésus est détaché de la croix - Jesus is taken down from the Cross.

Thank you so much for the information. How would I know if they are actual graphite drawings? They look like originals. Thanks again for everyones help.
You should use a magnifier and look for dots: they are part of the printing process.
But before you do read this :

Remember this guy's stuff is in the Louvre!
They are some of the most popular of all the Jesus images.
These prints are everywhere!
