    This came from a basket case that belonged to my dad. Not sure of exact yr/model. Just curious as to why there are two hands/needles??

      You will notice that the one on the right has a small tab sticking up, this catches on the needle onthe left while it is moving upscale and shows maximum speed reached without having to watch the speedo....... neat thing, probably a special order.

      That is called a tattle tail speedo in some circles. Some were used by police to pace speeders and record their speed. Neat item, do you still have the basket case it came with? I can't say exactly what year it would be from but not newer than mid 30s.
