Cast Iron Dutch Oven

I love this cast iron dutch oven. Most of my cooking is done in cast iron. I was trying to determine who made this lovely item, but couldn't find the shield mark on the front anywhere. I think it is a EGC and am wondering if it might be Erie Griswold Company......but???

Unfortunately this one has a crack by the handle....still doesn't leak but the crack breaks my heart! Can anyone tell me if this is really Erie Griswold? There is no mark on the bottom, just a seam in the center.
