My Dad over 40 years ago and his bike today.
    Somebody evidently wanted the headlight.
I made 3 trips to Lousiana around 1980 then parked it.
    He loved the bike
    I do too

      Is that a Moto Guzzi?

Yeah, It was built around 1970. He bought it new. It sounded good with my modified Black Bomber mufflers on it. The picture is actually a poster he had made from a snapshot. This was his favorite bike of all time.
      Thanks Lisa and Bellin

Thanks miKKoChristmas11, walksoftly, and blunderbuss2. I've got to move it from this barn and get it to my newly built shop so I can work on it. I've found a parts bike, because a few things are missin, why I don't know. Thanks for the encouragement blunderbuss.

He loved to ride even though he had a prosthetic left leg (lost in WWII). Had to hook and lift the gear shift from the hip and stomp to down shift, but the Guzzi never gave any trouble. He also had to hook the clutch lever with his fingers and yank it back to disengage it because he lost the ability to squeeze with pressure after mangling his left hand when he T-boned a grocery getter on his previous bike. He often "speed shifted" without the clutch and the bike would wheelie in second.
