This lovely glass vase that stands about 2 feet tall was made by Richard Kreamer in 1989, and I purchased it shortly afterwards in Ottawa (Canada).
I'm not able to find anything related to glass when I use "Richard Kreamer" for searching on the internet. The only reference I'm able to find for "Kreamer + Glass" is a company in the U.S. called "Kreamer Glass". I like the colour of the vase, and especially the inside of it.
I made this during my student days at Sheridan College and now live with my partner in Paris
I am glad to see that someone still likes my work-Richard
Richard,
It really is a beautiful piece, and I'm impressed that you made it while still a student. I hope you are enjoying Paris -- one of my favourite cities in the world. It must have been a kick for you to discover these photos on the internet for a much wider audience to enjoy. We had to find a new home for the vase as part of a major downsizing exercise, so another family is now getting to enjoy it as much as we did. Do you have any photos of more recent work anywhere on the internet?
I have two of Richards pieces associated with wonderful memories of a trip with my mother. I have often wondered where I could find more of your work.
Kassin,
Would you be willing to photograph and then post photos of those two pieces here? I'd really love to see them.
I also have a Richard Kreamer original called neighbourhood at night. I cherish it.
Hi,
I have a set of glass candle holders signed Rihte Kreamer. They have cobalt blue tops with a cranberry swirl (looks like a shell) stem and clear base. Would these also be made by Richard Kreamer? I would love to find out more about them. I'd post a pic but doesn't look like I can here.
That is his wife. Send me an email with a pic and I will get you some history on it. They are relatives. Carebear20424@gmail.com
One of the coolest comments pages I've ever seen. Fantastic!
